About Rail Wheel Factory
Rail Wheel Factory at Yelahanka, Bangalore it was started by Shri CK Jaffer Sharief the then Railway Minister who got this project to Bangalore is a premier manufacturing unit of Indian Railways, which is engaged in the production of wheels, axles and wheel sets of railroad wagons, coaches and locomotives for the use of the Indian Railways and select overseas customers. It was commissioned in 1984 to manufacture wheels and axles for the Indian Railways.

Qualification/Educational Criteria : Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Passed ITI in Fitter, Mechinist, Electrican, Electronic Mechanic from any recognized Institute or Organization.

Age Limit(in yrs) : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 15 to 24 Years.
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.2,800/- P.M.
